of a coffee plantation in one remote area of the country. With the rebels closing in on their farm, instead of running she stays and finds men and women to harvest the remaining coffee beans.
White Material portrays the determination of a woman to reap what she planted and devote herself to work. It is about the blind pride of a women that it causes her not to see the dangers of an upcoming rebellion.
